Welcome to the Kappa Alpha Psi Foundation Scholarships
The 2024 application process will open on April 1, 2024 and the deadline would be May 15, 2024.
The Foundation Scholarships are merit-based and awarded to qualified students with a consideration of financial need. All recipients shall be in pursuit of a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university and as described by the respective scholarship criteria. Most scholarships are for one year, non-renewable unless otherwise indicated in the award description. To apply for a Foundation Scholarship, you must complete the online application and provide the following supporting documents as instructed in the application:
- A high-resolution headshot,
- Current FAFSA Confirmation Page (received from filing FAFSA),
- Most recent transcript (unofficial or official),
- Three letters of recommendation from current school professor or faculty member or community leader
Points to remember
Filling out your application should take you 1-3 hours of focused time. Having to interrupt your progress to find information, like a school transcript, FAFSA confirmation, or the name and email address for someone writing your letter of recommendation, it can take even longer. We suggest that you use your time wisely by getting a head start and collect each of the items listed above before you begin.Additional criteria
